Offseason Notes:
The following information was provided during our initial 2023 Northwest Florida Youth Sports Assc. Football Meeting (2/19/23)
March 1st: Official start of Offseason Training Activities (OTA's). Speed Camps/Drills only
NO: equipment, scrimmages, or use playbooks and other team practice(s).
July 1st: Speed Camps are permitted to incorporate 7 on 7 training
(Non- Contact two hand touch or flags), NO equipment or full scrimmages.
July 31st: Official start of Practice (1st week of practice 2-days shirt/short/cleats, 3-days incorporate helmets).
Aug 7th: Second week of Practice (incorporate full pads).
Aug 19th: Pre-season Jamboree.
Aug 26th: Season begins WEEK 1
Oct 21st: End of Regular Season WEEK 9
Oct 28th: Make Up Games/Bye Week
Nov 4th: Playoffs (1st Round)
Nov 18th: Championship Saturday
Coaches: All coaches (including Team Moms) will need to have their USA Football Level 1 Certification, Background Check (certificate of BGI provided
to the league [NWFYSA] by the park) and Coaches Clinic attendance (coaches only) completed prior to being issued league badges.
*You will not be permitted to be on the game field/sidelines or coach games without a NWFYSA coaches badge.*
High School coaches only need to present their high school coach's badge at certification to receive their NWFYSA
League badge.
Rosters: Initial Rosters due Tue preceding Jamboree, week 1 update due Tue prior, week 2 update due Tue prior, Final Roster
due Tuesday September 5th.
Park/Player Transfer rule will be strictly enforced.
*Juniors/U14 (Only) No Weight Restrictions, Red-Stripe rule has been rescinded for this age group. *
